Nana

Nana is a Korean pop star who was ranked #1 overall on the '100 Most Beautiful Faces' of 2014 by TC Candler, an online entertainment review site that has run the annual independent critic list since 1990. Prior to winning the number one spot, Nana was ranked #2 in the same competition in 2013.

Nana's Korean birth name is Im Jin-ah and she was born on September 14, 1991. She is a singer and member of girl group After School, a South Korean girl pop group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2009. Prior to her becoming a member of After School in 2009, Nana was a participant in the 2009 Asia Pacific Super Model Contest and she walked the runway for the "Girls Award" event in Japan. She is also a member of its subgroups A.S. Red and Orange Caramel, and the super idol group Dazzling Red. Nana is a current member of the South Korean variety show Roommate.

In November 2009, Nana along with Raina debuted in After School as third generation members. They debuted with the group for the release of their second single, "Because of You". In June 2010, Nana, along with After School members Raina and Lizzy formed a sub-unit called Orange Caramel. Nana's first solo song, "Close Your Eyes", was included on Orange Caramel's single album "Shanghai Romance". Nana was also a member of After School's temporary sub-unit A.S. Red with Kahi, Uee, and Jungah, and promoted "In The Night Sky" in 2011. In 2012, Nana had a solo song included on the After School's Flashback maxi-single, titled "Eyeline". In 2012, she joined K-pop stars Hyolyn, Hyuna, Hyoseong, and Nicole to form a super group called Dazzling Red. They performed a charity single called "This Person".

In addition to her singing career, Nana is a licensed makeup artist and also has a membership at the Makeup Artists Association.

In January 2015, online reports alleged that Nara got her good look through artificial means. Purported pictures of her student years showed a very different girl with small eyes.
