Feral pigs
Feral pigs, pigs that have escaped from captivity and bred in the wilderness, are roaming wild in upstate New York. The problem already plagues parts of the southern United States, but their spread is becoming a major concern in New England. The feral pigs population are known to breed large litters and carry disease. They are infamous for desecrating crops and native animal and plant populations. So far, local populations are using traps to deal with them.
